The Kalaweit organization has been fighting for the preservation of biodiversity in Indonesia since 1997.In Borneo and Sumatra, it saves forests from deforestation with the close collaboration of local populations and takes care of wild animals affected by trafficking. The production of palm oil, the increasing extraction of nickel, coal, and gold threaten the Indonesian forests.
« The association constantly reinvents itself to effectively protect forests and save the animals that live there. Without you, we cannot act, your support is indispensable... The best way to help us is to become a Friend of Kalaweit. »

The entire Kalaweit team…
Wishes you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! And of course, a big THANK YOU for your support this year. We will continue our fight with you to save the forests and the animals that live there!
A new reserve in Borneo!
In this video, Chanee announces the start of the creation of a new forest reserve in Borneo: the Grand Dulan. The aim is to protect a total of 6,000 to 7,000 hectares of forest, home to orangutans, sun bears, gibbons, macaques, clouded leopards and proboscis monkeys. The situation is urgent, as deforestation linked to palm oil and coal production is on the rise. With your help, we can make this happen. Thank you!
